Hashem Khan is considered as one of the key figures in Bangladesh art scenario. Born Chandpur, was graduated from Faculty Fine Art, Dhaka University 1961. He a Professor at with 44-year experience and retired year 2007. has achieved Ekushey Padak Independence Day Award (The highest civilian award Bangladesh) for his significant contributions culture. Rural lifestyle very unique Bangladesh. Many poets, musicians, visual artists have taken inspiration rural culture life style His works reproduce natural beauty village, life, plenty other things. used traditional folk colours like yellow, orange green paintings motifs. done semi-realistic narration to communicate common people also vibrant paintings. The researcher here selected artist discussion analysis exhibitions which were held 1980 2018 different galleries Dhaka, capital two catalogues, articulate 143 plates. analysed contents Besides closely colours, composition forms painting.
